For New England Tech, Social Media Marketing Class. The challenge was to team up with the Health Department to raise awareness of the Mental Health issue among the Homeless.
Social Post
The Info-graph above and social post below were created using the pastor method. The pastor method is using ethos, pathos or logos to get your target audience to view and read the social post. Next part of this case study is what working with a client was like.
Experience Working with Client
Creating these two posts was a long process working with the Heath Department client. Working with the client we were able to figure out that they wanted to target social workers looking for their first medical job. This was a clear image of my target persona and how to personalize the social media posts for the social workers.
This was actually my first experience creating design work for a client. I’ve learnt how people having contrasting personalities and wishy-washy clients can make you feel overwhelmed. This is what brings me to the final part of this social media posts case study.
Lessons Learned
- I have to take control of design projects assigned to me
- Sometimes you have to lead your clients
- Give exact dates that things need to be given to me
- Take a deep breath when your client needs to change something
Something a Little Extra
My Class worked together and created the NEIT Health Access social media accounts.
Logo concept created by John Canon and final vector created by Chaowen Liang.
Conclusion
I was able to gain a lot of practical experience with this job. I will be able to use this experience dealing with clients to better carry myself for any projects in the future. Thank you for reading, please feel free to comment below.
